Investing on NISA with a Rakuten Card

I’ve signed up for a new NISA on Rakuten and I’d like to put money on it / invest in something using my Rakuten Card, but the website interface seems a bit confusing.

Following some instructions I’ve found around, I was able to register the card in マイメニュー -> 投資信託 (although might be for “withdrawal”, which just makes it more confusing?). But if I then try to invest in something in the 投資信託 section, it always tells me that I have 0 yen available and the only options it shows me to deposit are bank account transfers.

Does anybody know how you are supposed to do this using your Rakuten Card, so you get credit card points in the process? They even have [a campaign](https://www.rakuten-sec.co.jp/web/campaign/20240301-08/) for this.

Also, can you deposit yen in your NISA from a Rakuten Card and invest it later, or do you need to invest right away when using the card?
