Situation: I’m currently switching from a student visa to a work visa. I graduated uni this month and will be working for a company here from April 1st. I did not receive my new visa yet, and my current student visa expires in May, but I’m not a student anymore after March 31st.
Question: can I start working full time from April while waiting for my visa, or do I have to keep it to 28hours a week since I’m still on a student visa? Or can I not work from April 1st at all?
My contract starts from April 1st, and I don’t really know what I can and cannot do (the immigration isn’t picking up the phone).
