I’m an American working in Japan since August 2023. My gensen however has only counted August – November 2023, cutting out December. I’ve heard that has something to do with the Japanese calendar ending in November. My question is: is it ok to file my US taxes and only include the August-November months that are on my gensen, or should I add Decembers pay as well? Thanks for your help
