I was playing professor Layton and the second game has furigana while the first game didn’t. I’ve noticed that when the demographic for the media is supposed to be for children they include it but games like splatoon (which are popular with children) don’t have it while games like tloz have it so I’m wondering if furigana is a sign of the age intended player?
