F1 Suzuka (car camping and Ticket sharing) Questions

Hello,

I’m a huge F1 fan…I watch all the races and went to the Singapore GP many years ago. After moving to Japan I’ve been trying to get to Suzuka to see a race.

This year my two friends from the US are coming to the race. They bought weekend passes, but are only going to the race day (Sunday). They asked me if I wanted to use their tickets for Friday and Saturday.

First Question is about using their tickets. It looks like it’s a QR code system, so we could use the code on Friday and Saturday and then they would simply use the same code on Sunday.

Or do I need to show an ID that matches the name on the tickets?

Second questions is about parking/car camping. We would be driving from Okayama and have a big wagon that two people can sleep in. So, it makes sense just to arrive on Friday, enjoy practice, and just stay at the track and sleep in the car. We can bring a cooler with food in case it’s hard to get in and out, though I think it won’t be mobbed until Sunday.

Here is the info I found about car parking…It says sleeping in the car is possible.

Happy to hear of any advice/experience to help us plan the adventure smoothly.

Thanks !
