I’m currently studying in Beppu, Japan and will be staying here for the next few months. I asked my parents to send me some snacks by mail so I can share some of my culture (I’m Mexican) with the friends I’ve made here.
However, since they’re food items, I want to know if there will be any issue receiving them by mail and getting them through customs. I’d much rather not ask for things that are illegal to import and get my visa revoked or something.

Hot Cheetos

Cajeta
Marias
Mole
Is any of this illegal here in Japan?
