Business usage of casual “よろしく”

I’ve got a business Japanese question I think you’d be able to answer

When two people that are very friendly with each other, but still in a professional setting shake hands on a deal and they both trust the other person to follow through on their end, would “よろしく” be an appropiate thing for one of them to say to the other person?

Kind of like “I’m doing business with you because I trust you, and I know you have my best interest at heart”

“I feel safe in your care” kind of feeling, but in a business sense

Edit: to clarify, I know that よろしく would be “appropriate” I’m more asking what would be the most common/natural thing to say in this instance?
