Written exercises book…?

I’m looking for a textbook on written Japanese that has lots of written exercises (like you used to get in old “grammars”) Where you render English sentences into Japanese and vice versa.

I’m fed up of books like Japanese For Busy People with the confusing pictures that you’re supposed to interpret then describe in Japanese. And I want something that teaches the full Japanese script (which many old self-study courses didn’t). And there MUST be a key to every exercise. Certain books only give a key to half the exercises. Unreal but true!

Do you know of any good books?
