Recently my husband and I are in the process of providing shared finances evidence for Australian partner visa.
The problem is, we don’t have a joint bank account or we never made any transactions. We’ve handled everything in cash. Both our names are on our utility bills, but we were told that isn’t enough evidence. We don’t own any assets, and the lease of our apartment is under our company’s name. Our banks are Hirogin and Japanese Post Bank and I doubt they give secondary bank cards to spouses (I’ll look into it properly tomorrow tho). We have our own separate savings accounts, salary accounts, pension accounts, and health insurance. I was told by my boss that we’re not each other’s beneficiaries, it’s not a common thing in japan.
Any idea how we could provide evidence that we share our finances?
