My husband should be going as a contractor on a military base in October. We had originally been told that they would try to get our family added on. Now they are saying it is an unaccompanied job and there is no way of adding us on. We have tried talking to the consulate and keep getting the obvious answers. 90 day visas which we’d only be able to get twice. We were already planning on covering all the expenses as far as travel goes along with international school for the kids, and anything needed to get the kids and myself out there with him. Now, we’re wondering if there is anything we’d be able to do for us to be out there long term (1-2 years). We have tried calling the consulate, the hotline number, as well as in person at the consulate. I have our house all packed up and ready for the big move 😢. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated!!!
