I couldn’t find my specific example here, so hopefully I can get some input.
I am here on a working holiday visa and have been traveling for the past month.
However, due to family circumstances, I will have to leave for about 2 months before coming back.
I have my Zairyou card but there is no address on it yet since I’ve been traveling. When inquiring at the City hall they assured me it’s okay to register the address once I find residence.
I was going to do this right after the trip, but since I have to go back home first, I am not sure whether I should register the address prior (I have a friend whose address I can use) or leave first and only go through the registration upon return in the 2 – 3 months.
I do know I also need to enroll tor NHI which I intend to do, but I am also unsure how I’d pay for it if I were to register for it now and only deal with it after my return.
