Funny thing is, if Japan supported Russia right now, it could not only get a big thank you, but maybe even get some islands for it.
What does it get for supporting Ukraine? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
And when this is all over and the propaganda machine slows down, people are going to realize that while Russian behavior is indeed horrific, Ukraine is indeed the hellhole of corruption it was declared to be before the invasion, and has been stacking up war crimes of its own while the western and Japanese media was covering for it.
But yeah, I know. If Japan supported Russia the U.S. would throw a hissy fit. So they have to be happy with nothing.
