I was so spoiled by the trains in Tokyo that I didn’t think twice when I got an apartment a 40 minute bus ride away from my school. (According to maps, of course)
That 40 minutes is more like 1 hour and 15 minutes usually because my first bus is always late and my second bus always leaves earlier than Google says it will. Is this just the norm or did I get unlucky with two bus lines that don’t sync up well?
Pretty bummed about my apartment now because I did a lot of research and never saw any serious complaints about bus reliability but theres been a consistent 20 minute deviance on when the busses come and go and sometimes they don’t seem to even mind being excessively earlier than the schedule
