For the life of me I couldn’t remember the Japanese word for rice cooker. It was on the tip of my tongue but it kept coming up short.
I was on the fence about buying the E-J version of Kenkyusha during the Monokakido sale but I thought maybe this was a sign. I dropped the cash on it and looked up my first word, “rice cooker”. I was really surprised it wasn’t there! It’s such a giant part of everyday life that you’d think one of the most exhaustive dictionaries would surely have it but I guess not.
Outside of that initial search though it seems quite good.
