Japan’s problems with the treatment of Southeast Asians and foreigners …

Japan does not have special provisions for foreigners in various industries like Europe or other developed countries. I think that would be unfair to those who intend to work there. Looking at Germany, we can see that vocational training is reasonable for foreigners. For example, I’m Vietnamese, and I want to learn how to drive a train, but they won’t allow it. Even though the new regulations have added industries like railways, the recruitment system for foreigners, including countries like Vietnam and other Asian countries, is not much different from modern-day slavery. With the visa system Tokutei 1 and 2, they are only allowed to work during working hours and are limited in industries. Regarding settlement and naturalization, Japan is lagging behind compared to European countries and other developed countries. For example, in Germany, it only takes 5 years if integration is good, whereas in Japan, it takes much longer. That makes me disappointed. Therefore, I have decided to move to work in Europe to have more opportunities and do the work I love. My friends and colleagues come from Vietnam, Thailand, and other Southeast Asian countries. The depreciation of the yen is also a major factor, along with Japan’s immigration issues. They should take the lead. I hope Japan will diversify all industries and shorten the time for immigration, settlement, and naturalization. They should abolish the internship system for Asian citizens, also known as modern slavery, and allow citizens to work and be treated equally like other developed countries. Honestly, I’m fed up with Japan.
