I applied for JET and was notified that I have progressed to the interview stage (yay!) but there is a small problem. On my application I selected that I was interested in Early Departure. However, issues with my credit transfer have arisen and I am now graduating in May instead of this winter (I’m still an undergrad). According to the JET site, early departure is only possible for those who will have their undergraduate degree conferred by March 1st of the departure year. I no longer fit in that category.
Is it possible to change to regular departure? I know folks who are accepted and given early departure and THEN decline it cannot, but given that I’m still in the interview stage, I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do or if it is over for me. (As an extra note, I still intend to get my documents in (background check, etc.) before my interview as good form)
