Last thread (this week), I swear! Going crazy trying to prioritize. I want to go to all of these places but given the restrictions I have on the trip, hitting all of them means I can do at most 1 night for all of them but two nights for one of them.
I’m looking for help prioritizing or even just cutting one of them out completely though I can’t imagine it. For background, I’ve been to Japan several times and never been to any of these places. On this trip I will be spending a large chunk of time in Kyushu and stopping by Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo with friends. I’ll be going to these places alone
\-Southern Nara – Asuka and/or Sakurai, in the past, I loved Nara and my favorite thing was riding a bike around there, it just sounds cool to be able to go deeper into pretty rural parts and just relax, there’s not a lot of info on reddit about these places so it seems not a lot of expertise here on them
\-Hiroshima – Never been but going to the park and museum and eating okonomiyaki and stopping by Miyajima sounds nice
\-Onomichi – Relaxed vibes from what I’ve seen in videos, and so many people here say it’s their favorite place, I’ve heard it’s better to do 2 nights instead of 1 but i don’t plan on biking anywhere
\-Kanazawa – Foodie city, smaller, slower but still nice looking, calm relaxed but still a city experience
\-Yamaguchi – I know the least about it but again, calm relaxed and just made the NYT 52 places to check out, I’m intrigued
