Hi! I’m aware this is a very niche question to ask, but I’m hoping someone out there will know.

I’m a citizen in the States – back in college I took an internship with a company that contracted for the military, and they issued me an (unused) clearance as standard procedure. Does anyone know if that might interfere with applying for a work visa in Japan? It *seems* unrealistic, but I’m worried they might get cold feet over what could look like complete commitment to another country.
