My two friends and I are excited to be visiting Japan from April 30th to May 14th, and we would greatly appreciate your r/ expertise in planning our trip. We will be arriving in Tokyo on the afternoon of April 30th and departing from the same city on the afternoon of May 14th. Our itinerary so far includes Tokyo from April 30th to May 3rd and Fujikawaguchiko from May 3rd to May 6th, where we plan to hike Mt. Fuji with a guide on May 5th.
After May 6th, we do not have any concrete plans and are unsure about the best destinations to explore next. We are open to suggestions and would be grateful for any advice on where to go and what to see. We could do the classic Kyoto to Hiroshima and then circle back to Tokyo, but is there something else we should be doing?
