Hi! I’m currently living in Europe and I have a SCA barista certificate, so I am qualified to make coffee. I’m planning to up my barista experience and I’d like to find a barista job in Japan. Does anyone have tips on this ? How do I get a barista Job in Japan . I’d like to Learn the language also but I am having some trouble finding a job online. Is it better to actually go there first? What are your recommendations?

Unless you’re from a country [that has a working holiday visa agreement with Japan](https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/w_holiday/index.html) you’re basically out of luck. You can’t get a working visa as a barista.
You could come to Japan for language school and work as a barista part time, but you would need to go home after school is finished.
Basically Japan has no visa category for letting foreigners work as a barista.
If you’re enough young and fortunate to be from a country which has working holiday visa agreement with Japan, you may able to come to Japan easily. But it’s temporary (mostly for a year) and you’ll need to go back to your country when your working holiday visa expires.
