Hello fellow redditors
I am planning moving to Japan next year with a working holiday visa from Europe.
I would like to visit and live in a “typical japanese culture place” like Kioto, but I have heard that for a western man it´s more difficult to get a job there as they prefer asian faces. I know I can only aspire to shops/ restaurant jobs or teaching english to kids, as i am not native nor for a native country.
Despite what I look for is living the japanese experince, I am also a bit concerned to be too overwhelmed for the culture shok and maybe should consider start in place with more foreigners and students (maybe Osaka or Tokyo?)
Any advise? Do you think it would be difficult getting jobs of than kind in Kioto, more than in other places?
