Hi! So my boyfriend and I are going to Japan for the first time ever in exactly 3 weeks. We’re so so excited – I’m currently looking for some feedback on our 2 week trip activities. Also hoping for any other activity/day trip recommendations as there are a couple of empty days.
Hope this is enough information and I haven’t been too general!
Day 1: *(WEDNESDAY 15th)*
\- Land at Haneda @ 7am
\- Time to get through customs, baggage claim, collect pocket WIFI etc and our transfer to hotel in central Tokyo = 7am-9am
\- Due to probable jetlag we have no plans for this day. Simply drop off our bags in the storing area as we will be there too early for check in and then go to explore the local area in Tokyo. This day is just to get our bearings and cope with the 7 hours time difference ahaha.

Day 2:
\- Morning activities: Senso-Ji Temple, Animal Café (currently trying to find one where people say they look after animals well in the facility) Imperial Palace walk in the afternoon.
\- TeamLabs @ 7pm.

Day 3: SHIBUYA
\- Lots and lots of shopping this day!!
\- Shibuya Crossing
\- Shrines
\- Shibuya Sky @ 8pm

Day 4:
\- This one I have as an empty exploring day! Any recommendations with areas/ activities to visit would be very welcome 🙂
\- We also might be doing a night bus to Kyoto – unless people recommend we just stick to the shinkansen? Was going to do night bus to Kyoto and then the shinkansen back as we still wanted to experience it?

Day 5:
\- Arrive in Kyoto (whether that’s by night bus or shinkansen).
\- Rent Kimonos for the day.
\- Free walking tour around Kyoto, will be booking this the week prior!
\- Spend the day exploring and eating lots of food 🙂
\- Last Shinkansen back to Tokyo!

Day 6:
\- This one I also have as an empty exploring day! Any recommendations with areas/ activities to visit would be very welcome.

Day 7: Disneyland
\- This day we’ve dedicated solely to Disneyland as we’re aware of the mass crowds and long queues. We’ve both never been to any Disneyland before so wanted to take our time round the park and ofc be there for the fireworks in the evening.

Day 8: Day trip to Kamakura
\- Morning train to Kamakura
\- Exploring the temples, shrines and looking around the town (so excited about this day trip)
\- Back to Tokyo late afternoon

Day 9:
\- This one I also have as an empty exploring day! Any recommendations with areas/ activities to visit would be very welcome.

Day 10:
\- Mount Fuji Day trip/tour. Think this one will take up most the day so have blocked it out for just our little trip.

Day 11:
\- Another shopping day here. Wanted to explore lots of different thrift shops/charity shops around Tokyo and visit some museums.
\- In the evening my boyfriend is meeting his friend and going to DAIKOKU! I believe its 6pm-11pm but I wont be going so any recommendations for what I can do in the evening would be amazing!!

Day 12:
\- Hiking Mount Takao
\- A nice chill afternoon around Tokyo after our hiking experience.

Day 13:
\- Keeping this day free as to decide when we’re out there how to spend our last day in Tokyo. Will have to be an early night as we have to be up super early.
Day 14:
\- Very Early Flight home!
