I’m traveling to Japan at the end of the month and have been booking my trains in advance because of Golden Week. I went to book a train from Hakone (Odawara station) to Kyoto station, and am getting different results on Klook vs. SmartEx. Klook is showing only direct trains with no transfers, while the SmartEx app is showing only trains with a transfer. We would prefer to not transfer, but are uncertain as to why there is a difference between the platforms and are wondering whether Klook is reliable.
TLDR; Is there a direct train between Odawara station and Kyoto and why can’t I find it on the SmartEx app?
