Hi,
Currently living in East Tokyo but looking to move soon. I’ve found two apartments I really like in Takadanobaba and Asagaya respectively but am stuck between the two and looking to hear from people who live/have lived in those areas.
I’m a single woman in my late twenties and work near Shibuya. I go out a fair bit (like 3+ times a week) but prefer to live somewhere lowkey with local bars and where it’s easy to meet people. As a neighbourhood I prefer Asagaya but not sure how good access is to the rest of Tokyo. Similarly, I’m a bit worried that Takadanobaba is too student-y and full on at night.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s lived in either area. Thanks!
