Proof of employment for sony bank.

Hi.

I just did some research on banks and I would like to open an account with Sony bank since I learned that JP is just a starter that let’s you make an account, not a bank you want to bother with too much. And I am already sick of JP tbh after just 1 month.

What I want to ask is about the proof of employment. I have not been here for 6 months yet, so I am in that category where I have to prove I am employed besides scanning my residence and health insurance cards.

On the site, it is written that I could use a Business card or Company ID or Certificate of employment.

1.Business card is pretty straightforward, thing is I didn’t receive them yet. And they won’t have my name in katakana either way but I can just write that on them from what I heard. Maybe I can ask for some, but I want to see what other options there are.

2.Idk if company ID refers to the ID card I am wearing around my neck every day at work. Is it that one?

3.And what is the certificate of employment? If I ask for that, what exactly should I ask for at work? The company is 99% Japansese, so I have to explain what I need or I may receive the wrong thing. I can’t just show an English page to them and hope they will understand.

Also, are there any other documents that work as proof of employment?

Please let me know if if anyone has done this before and what I should ask from my company. I would prefer to do it early rather than wait 6 months since next week I have some days dedicated to resolving those problems with HR so it is the best time to bring this up. That and I have a long-ish business trip in 6 weeks so doing it until then would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!
