I am planning on applying for the MEXT scholarship in a few years, but after all the research i’ve done, the question still remains.
i need to know if i should start intensively learning Japanese now, or if it’s taken care of with the scholarship or University. I have 3 years before i graduate and immediately fly off to Japan, not very much time, and i cannot find a direct answer on this for the life of me,
Does Osaka University offer something for this? If i need to know japanese, do they have a program or something before starting the academic term? I read somewhere that they assist foreign students by having them do a 6-month language learning program before starting their actual studies, is this correct? if not, what can i do?
