Hello everybody.
I’m planning on attending Japanese university and getting a part-time job on the side. My problem is, that I obtained my academic degree before the B.A./M.A. was implemented in every field in Germany. Under the „German – Japanese Academic Links Agreement between
the Japan Association of National Universities (JANU), the Japan Association of Public Universities (JAPU), the Federation of Japanese Private Colleges and Universities Associations (FJPCUA) and the German Rectors’ Conference“ I am eligible for attending graduate programs at Japanese universities with my „Dipl. FH“ academic degree. (No, it’s not like an US diploma, it is an academic degree, equivalent to B.A.) My problem comes with applications for jobs. To be on the save side, I want to get an official recognition of my degree, not just an translation. I know there are official institutions for such cases, but all my research brought no results where to go to.
Does anyone know, which official body I should turn to? Every info is appreciated, thanks.
