Everyone knows JAL is a shithole in poor management. If they weren’t a national carrier, they would have been bankrupt many times by now.

I think after the ascension of a women CEO in drink and food component of Suntory, it puts pressure for other companies to promote qualifying women to high senior role. I haven’t flew JAL for a very long time. Partially it is just cheaper to fly ANA and other Asian carriers. Despite JAL as the historical national carrier, ANA is now actually larger airline. We will see how this go, but JAL has so much trouble to be fixed easily.
