(I hope this is the correct subreddit for this)
Hi! I would like to move to Japan in a few years. Im starting to learn the language because I was told that basically no one can speak english there and knowing japanese is absolutely necessary. But I want to ask regarding the things you need. I know you need a visa to stay there, but I want to ask about other things like: what important laws you have to be familiar with, how does healthcare work there, and how do you do taxes/how much taxes are there. I still live with my parents and go to school so I dont know any of these things yet, and I would like to be prepared when it comes to moving there one day. I wanted to ask for advice/help or maybe a website or article/youtube video that can inform me about these things. Side note: yes Im aware that living in japan as a foreigner is really hard and that I will feel left out, and that living in Japan ist as good as it sounds like but its always been a dream of mine since I love the culture and the country in general, and I cant imagine myself living anywhere else, despite the hardships. Thanks in advance!
