As the title says, I’m planning a 2 week trip in November 2025. I’ve been doing tons of research, I have books I plan to buy, I have a 7 page google doc going with places I want to go, onsen I can visit since I’m tattooed, shrines, etc.
I am doing everything in my power to not be a crappy tourist and to learn every custom I can.
But, in all my research there is one thing I’m having some trouble with: Suico/Passmo passes. From what I’m seeing, in August of this year Passmo passport cards will stop being sold. I think the standard Passmo cards are still not being sold. I’m also seeing I don’t need a Passmo if I get the Suica? But doesn’t the Passmo get us on busses? What do we do if they arent being sold when we go? As a side note, I do not have an iPhone so I can’t get the pass on my wallet.
We plan on staying in Tokyo and traveling to several cities, though a trip to Osaka may be in the works because we want to go to Universal Studios Japan.
We’re also looking at getting an airbnb. Will luggage services deliver to airbnb? The one were leaning towards in in Taito.
