As a Japan permanent resident but currently living outside Japan for a few years now so I don’t have a juminhyo or local resident registration. I do go back to Japan for 2-3 weeks each year. Is income generated outside Japan taxable? Will appreciate help as I want to ensure I am doing what is right. I do intend to come back within the next two years.
