I’m fairly sure I know the answer but will ask just in case one of you lovely people has a suggestion.
There’s a house I like and could afford to buy in cash but would prefer not to. Does anybody see a world in which we get any type of mortgage at under 2%?
Total assets of non-restricted stock investments and cash equal just under double the asking price.
Me: non-Japanese, NPR and unemployed
Spouse: Japanese with a job she just started, house price about 12.5x annual salary
No outstanding debts
I’m assuming my options are cash, maybe a massive down payment or co-signer but would appreciate any other suggestions.
