Tokyo/Kyoto/Kanazawa/Takayama/Osaka/Hiroshima/Fukuoka 30 Day Itinerary

# Preface

I would like some advice on my itinerary regarding whether I should remove/add activities and other general tips/pointers in the area. Started planning this about two weeks ago looking at other itineraries on reddit/japan-guide/other websites.

Some general info about me & my interests:

* 22 Y/O Male
* Into shopping/anime/alcohol/social activities/hiking/EATING
* Solo traveler & first trip to Japan

I have less of an interest in museums that have “antiquated” stuff like ancient dolls or something. Temples are cool.

Concerns I have at the moment:

* After Kyoto, I stay in an area no longer than two days. Maybe this isn’t enough to recuperate? I could take a day away from another location and redistribute the days but I’m not sure where to distribute it to. Note that I must depart from Narita airport.
* For my Tokyo itinerary, I feel like I’m doing a lot of backtracking that may result in an unfeasible plan.
* From the JR pass calculation from Japan-guide it suggests some passes but if I calculate it myself the period of validity of the pass and how long im staying at certain locations causes the pass to _not_ be worth it. Is there a more accurate calculator that takes into account dates?
