At the moment I have an account with japan post bank, and I have now been in japan for 6 months as a language student
I would like to change bank so my dad can send English money into my account. Which I couldn’t do with my japan post bank account. I don’t know anything about banks or money and stuff
So I was wondering what bank would be best for English transfer? I’ve been seeing prestia smbc or something being suggested but I don’t understand what this maintenance fee is or if it’s a thing, I don’t really get it. I’m not the richest person in the world and I’m trying to save money here but I really don’t understand banks let alone Japanese ones
