Problem with app to buy Hakone Freepass

hi there!

I want to buy the Hakone Freepass on my Samsung phone. I select the pass, indicate gender but I cannot scroll the date of birth, and then cannot proceed. I tried MANY times, Tried another phone browser, same problem. Am I the only one having that problem?

Also, am I right I can use the Hakone Freepass as regular train ticket, along with the romance car surcharge?

thanks for anyone who can help, it is a bit confusing and I’m still in Europe planning for next months.
