Hi all, would appreciate some itinerary advice please on upcoming trip to Osaka end of this year.
Tue 31st Dec – USJ:
* Universal Studios Japan
* Shinsaibashi-suji for dinner
Wed 1st Jan – Namba area:
* Kuromon Ichiba Market for breakfast
* Shittenoji Temple
* Isshin-ji Temple
* Shin Sekai area for lunch
* Nihonbashi Den Den Town
* Dotonbori for dinner
Would it be better to swap these two days around? Which day would be better for less crowds in USJ?
I am guessing the temples would be busier on New Year’s Day as well with hatsumode and temple visits? And would businesses, shops and restaurants in the shopping districts be closed as well?
I’ve got one more day in Osaka on the 2nd which I’ve saved for Osaka Castle and exploring Umeda/northern area (mainly because the Castle closed until the 2nd).
