I’m kind of lost. Planning a two week long vacation to Japan as my first time leaving the United States.
My two biggest worries are the language barrier and if I need to exchange a bunch of local currency. Do credit cards automatically do the exchange?
Secondly, suggestions on what to do. There’s so much to do when visiting a whole country. I’m flying into Tokyo but want to hit a few cities while I’m there such as Oskaka, Hiroshima, and Sapporo (I’m open to many more).
These cities are so large I feel it’s easy to get lost in options. Planning on using public transport for everything.
I personally enjoy the outdoors greatly, want to try local cuisine, see Japanese architecture and history, but I want to open my horizons.
I greatly appreciate any and all input. Thank you!
