Hi, so I bank with WISE in the USA (and internationally) and with SMBC Olive in Japan.
I always send money to myself and have my account saved but for some reason the account type changed. I also just noticed that my name is written in English.
The account number and branch are the SAME. I knew something was off because usually my money comes immediately usually.
Anyway this is a large sum of money, like $4000 USD… and I kind of need it quick.
Wise is confusing me because it’s saying if the info on the transfer isn’t perfect it’ll get rejected. However, I can’t find any info on SMBC website about how to contact them and check on it from their end. So, I don’t know. Anyone knows what to do? The account number and branch code is right so will the bank figure it out or just flat out reject it/send it back?
