We am travelling to Japan in mid to late December this year. We are planning to save a day for amusement park activities (around 19 December, Thursday). Usually, we would most definitely pick Fuji Q highland as all of us in the group love thrills. The issue is based on reviews and such, rides closing cannot be predicted and queue can be quite ridiculous. With the park closing way earlier than other parks, this set us back a little. Additionally, we plan to buy a day pass online so we can have unlimited rides but if rides are closed or queues are long, it would really be a waste to us. So the decision of Yomiuriland was for the winter lights but the rides do not seem as thrilling for us thrillseekers.
Simply put, I would like to know if anyone has experience going to Fuji Q Highland during December, the status of the crowd, anyone’s experience with rides closing because of weather, how the priority pass works because I could not really understand, and any way that we can check operations of fuji q highland rides beforehand? For Yomiuriland park, any thrillseekers who went and their experience was it worth it or at least decent enough of a park for enjoyment and the rough duration it took to complete the park. If there are any recommendations of thrills that are available for us as well!
Would appreciate any advice 🙏
