So I am going to be staying in Japan for a month next march and am obviously buying the JrPass but I need to know if there is any possible way to get from Hakodate to Yamagata or would it be better to go someplace else after Hakodate and then after that go to Yamagata. Disclaimer I am hoping to travel from North to South and then back to Tokyo. Any advice would be appreciated because Ive looked at my options and cant find any viable place to go to after Hakodate.
