Is the JR pass worth it? Have calculated from many websites and it is borderline?

Hi,

Apologies for this post and hope I have done my research. Will be travelling in mid May for a couple of weeks.

* 10/05 – Arrive Tokyo
* 11/05 – Tokyo full day
* 12/05 – Tokyo full day
* 13/05 – Tokyo full day (Will send luggage to Osaka)
* 14/05 – Kawaguchiko full day (Travel to very early in the morning by trains)
* 15/05 – Hakone full day (Travel to in the morning by buses)
* 16/05 – Hakone half day + Osaka half day (Travel to Osaka when I am happy with Hakone)
* 17/05 – Osaka full day
* 18/05 – Hiroshima + Miyajima (depending on high tide) full day, back to Osaka some time at night
* 19/05 – Kyoto full day (Travel to very early in the morning, probably will not use a JR line instead the Keihan line)
* 20/05 – Kyoto full day (Will use the JR Nara line for Arashiyama but only minor)
* 21/05 – Kyoto full day
* 22/05 – Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (Trains from Kyoto – Toyama, Train from Nagano – Tokyo)

or Kyoto half day + Tokyo half day (Travel to in the afternoon)

* 23/05 – Tokyo full day
* 24/05 – Tokyo half day + depart Tokyo

Have calculated that it is borderline (give or take) from the 16th-22nd with the ¥50000 JR pass.

* Odawara – Shin Osaka
* Shin Osaka – Miyajima including ferry
* Hiroshima – Shin Osaka
* Kyoto – Toyama + Nagano – Tokyo or Kyoto – Tokyo

Am I better off just getting a JR West All Area pass or JR Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass? Is the JR pass + Fuji Hakone pass + IC card only what I need? Need to research Osaka amazing pass.

Apologies and thank you!
