My mom is going to be visiting me in Japan for 2 weeks in May. She has a U.S. phone plan (Cricket Wireless) but is hoping that there will be an alternative to a local SIM, as she needs to be able to receive occasional calls and texts from her clients in the U.S. Would pocket wifi be a solution to this? I’ve read a bit about it and seen it in various locations but not quite sure how it all works!
