We head to Japan for a couple weeks in a few days and unlike most every place I’ve traveled I made zero restaurant reservations. I want this trip to be more free flowing and less focused on Michelin star dining as an example. We are staying at mostly Amex FHR hotels so I’m hoping the concierges can make great recommendations and get us in to cool places. Michelin Stars are not the priority. We are also hoping to happen upon dope spots while we explore during the day, particularly for lunch. Any thoughts and advice on this plan would be appreciated.
