Going to visit Japan in the first half of June for 18 days. As of now we have booked 7 days in Tokyo (day trips to Fuji/Hakone/Yokohama maybe), another 6-7 days in Osaka (day trips to Nara,Hiroshima, Kobe) and the final few days in Kyoto (we depart from Osaka). Since 18 days is so long we were considering flying out to Sapporo-Hokkaido for 3 days from Tokyo and then coming to Osaka, the flights however, may be cheap, but got pricier once we included the baggage add ons. Any thoughts on these day divisions? Any specific things/places to focus on?
