I read on couple review on the web, that you can’t ascend Mt. Hiei from Yase-Hieizanguchi station – only option is to take the cable car. But I can build a walking route in [Maps.me](https://Maps.me) from the station to the top.

So would I be able to climb from there? Or is it better to select another starting point?
