Kurama Kibune Ohara with Kyoto one day pass?????????

We’ll (2 retiree friends)be in Kyoto in about 10 days. As a day trip outside of Kyoto I am interested in going to Ohara and Kurama and Kibune. I read on a post from 7 years ago that there is a day pass you can use to go to all three in one day? Is that still the case?

Also is it too much to go to all 3 in one day. I understand Kurama has a great outdoor onsen, which I’d like to soak in. Has anyone been? if so whadya think.

  1. Very doable to do all three IF you plan your day out with public transport timetables / opening hours (where applicable) in advance, gulp down lunch, and are disciplined in sticking to the schedule. If you like lingering at individual sites or want to sleep in or hike Kurama-Kibune then it’s not really doable. Of the three I think Kurama is most cuttable.

Look into 京都洛北・森と水のきっぷ. There used to be a バス&えいでん 鞍马・贵船日帰りきっぷ but they nerfed the ticket by replacing the bus segment with subway.
