I will be travelling from Fukuoka up to Osaka. I will be passing by Hiroshima, Okayama, Kyoto and departing Osaka.

I want to spend a day in a Ryokan (preferably with a private onsen) to relax somewhere along the trip. But I have not decided where to stay and which area. During my previous trip, I stayed in Arima Onsen in Kobe but I don’t want to stay in the same location as I want to explore other areas.

Any recommendation on which location should I stay in along the trip? budget about USD150 a night.
