I’m beginning to plan for a 2025 trip to Japan, starting with a week in Tokyo and continuing south. Reading these sites has helped me start that planning and kindled my excitement! My first decision: when to travel? I understand February is chilly, but pretty dry and less crowded. March is warmer but risks competing with the cherry blossoms, etc.. I enjoy a garden, might even get up early to see one, but we will spend most of our time in city (anime) and historic activities. I have read comments saying that March is too busy to enjoy and others saying March is manageable If you’re not chasing flowers. Of course, every year is different. What is your advice?
