Does anyone know if it is a requirement to remove piercings as an ALT? I am applying for an ALT position with Interac in Japan. I have a nose ring piercing that is a hoop and multiple piercings in my ear (one ear has five piercings going all the way up from lobe to helix)
I am not willing to take out my piercings for work. My skin is very sensitive and I cannot easily remove my jewelry. Even though my piercings are many years old, if I take the jewelry out even for a a day they run the risk of closing up.
