Wife has bad anxiety but worried about visa

My wife has been experiencing extreme bouts of anxiety for the past few months and it has been difficult with her work. She is on a humanities visa though so she is worried about quitting to focus on her mental health worrying she will get deported if she doesn’t have a stable job. She works at an eikaiwa teaching adults and kids.

Can she do side jobs or wfh while on a humanities visa for a while until her anxiety becomes more manageable to go back to onsite working? Will this be accepted? Is there a minimum hours or salary so she won’t get in trouble with immigration? She seems to be doing well with online gigs she has but going to work has been extremely stressful for her and I feel really helpless not knowing what to do. She can’t go on my visa as a dependent as of yet since it’s expiring soon and I still need to renew it.

Also, she has a regular psychiatrist and has been taking therapy once a week for 3 months now.
